Presidential Race '08 Update


It is being reported that with 99% of the votes counted, Hillary Clinton has prevailed in the primary polls in Texas, Ohio, and Rhode Island. Barack Obama has secured the state of Vermont. The tally for the democratic delegate race is as follows:

Barack Obama: 1,477 Delegates and 24 States won
Hillary Clinton: 1,391 Delegates and 16 States won

The amount of delegates needed to secure the democratic nomination is 2,025.

On the Republican side of things, John McCain has secured the spot as the rival to whoever will secure the democratic ticket.
