When The World Isn't Enough...

Space tourism is bound to be the new hobby for the rich and the restless. Billionaire entrepreneur Richard Branson, known for his innovative and quirky business launchings, has recently formed Virgin Galactic.

This company will cater to people who have loads of money to drop to experience a two and a half hour space trip, that will reportedly include about five minutes of weightlessness.

Richard Branson aspires to make trips to outer space into a popular commercial enterprise. He has already garnered interest from potential clients. According to CNN, more than 250 people have paid $200,000 or put down deposits to be a part of Virgin's space travel adventure. The earliest flights are predicted to launch in late 2009, or early 2010.

Although wealthy space enthusiasts will have to patiently wait for an exact date on which they can take this out of this world trip, Richard Branson and his aerospace designer, unveiled their four year in the making mothership today. The mothership is being touted as a groundbreaking utilization of aeronautic technology. Check out a prototype video below:
