The South Korean government has reportedly decided to lift its ban on the sale of iPhones within their country's borders.
According to The Wall Street Journal, officials of South Korea have stated that the Apple Inc. manufactured phone was barred from their country because its mapping capabilities "violate a South Korean rule requiring the use of domestic technology for location-based services in cellphones." The Apple Corporation has agreed to remove the mapping function so that the "smart phone" is in compliance with South Korean law.
