Scientists have found the remains of a previously undiscovered species of reptile in a Brazilian lake. They have given the new species the name "Lacusovagus," meaning "lake wanderer."
According to The Independent, the creature is "the largest of its kind, which would have flown in the skies above Brazil 115 million years ago." It would have "had a wingspan the size of a family car."
The discovering scientist, sums up his find by stating: "The discovery of something like this in Brazil - so far away from its closest relatives in China - demonstrates how little we actually know about the distribution and evolutionary history of this fascinating group of creatures."
