Credit card corporations are aggressively cultivating customers amongst the college crowd.
Unbeknown to a lot of college students, many institutions of higher learning have million dollar contracts with credit card companies. Through the contracts, colleges agree to provide the companies with students' names and addresses, and use of the colleges' logos. According to The New York Times, universities "have come under harsh criticism in Washington," for this practice.
Students should be wary of being lured by savvy credit card corporations to accumulate debt before they even start their careers.
