Today's Fly Or Die Commerce Report: Dow Chemical Co.'s Multi-Billion Dollar Deal With Kuwait Sidelined

At the end of 2008, U.S. Based Dow Chemical was in negotiations with Kuwait. The deal would have allowed a state-owned Kuwaiti petroleum company to pay Dow Chemical $7.5 billion for a 50% stake in several of their chemical plants. However, according to The Wall Street Journal, Kuwaiti officials decided to scrap the deal due to America's faltering economic state.
