The Bay Area Rapid Transit Police Officer who fired the fatal shot that killed Oscar Grant (who was unarmed and prostrate at the time of his murder) has been apprehended.Authorities arrested Johannes Mehserle in Las Vegas. According to CNN, "Mehserle was arrested on a fugitive warrant charging homicide." Reportedly, Johannes Mehserle has waived extradition. He is expected to be returned to the state of California soon.
