Elsie Law's Daily Dose Of The Law: Bratz Dolls Gets A Reprieve

After initially being ordered to stop selling their dolls after the holiday season for infringing on Barbie's copyright, Bratz' manufacturer, MGA Entertainment, received some good news.

A judge has modified the previous injunction and will allow Bratz to sell their products through the end of 2009. An appeal on the copyright infringement is still pending.

According to CNN: "It was not immediately clear whether MGA would keep profits from those sales [of 2009] or if they would be placed in an escrow account until the appeals process is completed."
