Cynthia McKinney and 20 Others Inexplicably Imprisoned By The Israeli Government

The Israeli government is reportedly holding a group of activists prisoner. Among the group is Cynthia Mckinney, and Irish peace activist & Nobel Laureate, Mairead Maguire.

The activists we're on a mission to bring aid to Gaza, when their ship- which was reportedly in international waters- was overtaken by the Israeli military and seized. The 21 member group's ship was then towed to the Israeli port of Ashdod; and the activists who were aboard were jailed.

Currently 19 of the 21 activists (including McKinney and Maguire) are still imprisoned.

McKinney reportedly refused to sign a deportation order that states that she violated an Israeli blockade. The exact charges against the activists are still unclear.

I received this information via e-mail. So far the mainstream press has neglected to give attention to this story.
