Today, Judge Sonia Sotomayor is engaging in a second day of hearings that are required before she can be named as a Justice on the Supreme Court. The judiciary committee hearings will reportedly end on Thursday.According to The Wall Street Journal, "A vote by the full Senate to confirm Judge Sotomayor [as a Supreme Court judge] is expected in early August.
If Sonia Sotomayor is confirmed to succeed Justice David Souter, she will be the first Hispanic to sit on the Supreme Court.
