What ramifications does this front page Presidential "apology" to a Massachusetts police officer [i.e. The Henry Louis Gates debacle- google it if you haven't heard about it yet. (I'm too perturbed to get into the details)], have on the community that is patrolled by killer cops? [SIDEBAR: I don't know if this whole drama is a distraction for other things [The Sidebar's Sidebar: I'm starting to overstand how this system really works]; but even if it is, it doesn't dilute the message that this is sending.]
