Today is the big day! After I cast my vote, I am going to purchase the new Sister Souljah novel, "Midnight." (It is being released today).I hardly ever read fiction- but for Sister Souljah, I'll make a rare exception.
"Midnight" will focus on a character that Souljah introduced in her first novel, "The Coldest Winter Ever." This book is not your average sequel. Instead of extending the story of Winter Santiaga, where Sister Souljah's last tome left off, it interestingly explores the depth and biography of Midnight- one of "The Coldest Winter Ever's most stand-out characters.
Here's a little extra tidbit/exclusive: Allegedly, the next book in Sister Souljah's novel series will be written from the viewpoint of "The Coldest Winter Ever's" character, Mercedes (Winter's younger sister).
