According to CNN, "In 1992, the U.S. Supreme Court said that a law creating a 'campaign-free zone' at a polling place and for 100 feet around it does not violate the First Amendment right to free speech.

[Although] the ruling was not about campaign clothing and pins [it can] be applied that way."
