I read the following quote today by author, Djehuti Wa Kamau in his book "Warrior Song": "The machine resists all attempts at revisionism; there is no change from within- the power structure will easily change you, if you haven't changed already to get in." This quote leads to the question: Is it possible to change a system that was built to function in a certain manner, or should people venture out to build independently of that system if they truly want change?
