Elsie Law's Daily Dose Of The Law

The popular toy manufacturer, Mattel Inc- and its subsidiary Fisher Price, settled a law suit that requires the corporation to pay $12 million to 39 United States states.

The company was found liable for selling toys that contained lead paint. The toys have already been recalled, and Mattel has vowed to follow more stringent quality control guidelines.
