Facebook is seeking to fill their recently vacated position of Chief Financial Officer. According to The Wall Street Journal, the 5 year old social networking company is allegedly "looking for a CFO with public company experience." This statement is helping to fuel the rumor that Facebook may become a publicly held company in the near future.
The Wall Street Journal also states that Facebook is predicted to have a 70% increase in revenue in 2009. They currently have an estimated 200 million users. With numbers like these, I wonder how much a share of Facebook will go for if and when the company goes public.
