Arthur Ashe, tennis great, won 18 career titles. He is the only African American player to ever win the men's singles at Wimbledon, the U.S. Open, and the Australian Open.In addition to being a legendary athlete, Mr. Ashe was also an activist. He protested against South African apartheid, and other injustices.
