A lot of top authors have already negotiated the parameters of having their books for sale online with their publishers. According to The Wall Street Journal, one hold-out has been famed legal novelist, John Grisham. Grisham's agent stated that the best-seller was waiting for the conduit of selling online to mature before he jumped into it. This was probably a smart move for him; for, it will likely bolster his negotiations. The top-selling author is now allegedly in talks with Bertelsmann to offer several of his titles for sale as e-books.
