American company owners must receive approval from the U.S. Government in order to outsource. This is done by employers filing a H-1B visa petition. Reportedly, the government randomly selects 85,000 visa petition applicants for approval.According to The Wall Street Journal, in recent years, Indian outsourcing companies have been the front runners in obtaining the go-ahead to hire workers for temporary employment in the United States.
